                             Good 'n Easy Stew

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    3      pounds        lean stewing beef -- cut in 1 1/2" chunks
    1      1.5 oz envlp  dry onion soup mix
      1/2  cup           sauterne wine -- or
                         beef broth
    1      10.5 oz can   cream of mushroom soup -- or
                         cream of celery soup
    1      4 oz can      sliced mushrooms, drained -- optional
 
 Combine all ingredients in Crock-Pot.  Cover and cook on Low for 10 to 12 hours
 .  If desired, thicken gravy.
