4 c Crispy puffed rice cereal
1 c Spanish peanuts
1 c Raisins
1 c Dried banana chips
3 tb Margarine or butter
3 tb Honey
3/4 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Flaked coconut
Heat oven to 325~. Mix cereal, peanuts, raisins and banana chips in
ungreased jelly-roll pan, 15x10". Heat margarine in saucepan over low heat
until margarine is melted. Stir in cinnamon and salt; pour over cereal mix,
tossing until evenly coated. Bake 15 minutes, stirring once. Stir in
coconut. Let stand 5 minutes; loosen from pan. Sprinkle with additional
salt if desired. Makes 8 cups.
