   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1      15-oz. can    black beans -- drained
    1      tablespoon    onion -- finely chopped
    1      tablespoon    fresh cilantro -- finely chopped
    2      teaspoons     pickled jalapenos -- minced
    1 1/2  tablespoons   pickled jalapeno juice
      1/2  teaspoon      Vege-Sal seasoning (or a favorite blend)
      1/4  teaspoon      garlic powder
      1/2  teaspoon      ground cumin
 
 Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.  Process until smooth.
  Makes 4 servings.  Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
