                      Hobbes' North Carolina Bbq Sauce

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1      cup           apple cider vinegar
    2      teaspoons     red pepper
      3/4  cups          water
    1                    ds sugar
      2/3  cups          minced onions
    1                    bay leaf
    1      clove         garlic -- crushed
      2/3  teaspoons     thyme
      1/2  teaspoon      salt
    3      tablespoons   peanut oil
    1      teaspoon      black pepper
 
 Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil, then
 simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool, and store your bottle in the frig
 .
 You can play around with the ingredients but the vinegar and red pepper are the
 main jewels.
