1/2 cup water and apple juice
1/2 cup dried cherries
Confectioner's sugar or honey to taste
Bring water and apple juice to a boil; pour over cherries and steep for as long
as possible. Sweeten
to taste if need be with sugar or honey. Serve hot over ice cream, fresh fruit
or cake.
