1 3/8 cups matzo meal
1 egg -- beaten
1 tablespoon chicken fat
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix ingredients together and place in refrigerator for 20 minutes. Shape into b
alls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Boil in salted water for 20 minutes, cover
ed. Matzo balls may be frozen in the soup. When ready to serve, defrost suffici
ently to remove from container and heat through.
