   1-1/4 c  whole wheat flour
   1-1/4 c  corn meal
   1-1/4 c  rye flour
       1 ts baking soda
     1/2 ts salt
   2-1/2 c  buttermilk
       1 c  dark molasses
       1 c  raisins
 
   Sift together the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add the
   buttermilk, molasses and raisins.  Mix by hand until well blended.
   Divide the mixture into 2 parts. Place each in a waxed paper
   lined baking dish that are 10 x 6 x 1-3/4. Cover each with a
   plastic wrap. Microwave one loaf at a time on medium (50%) for 22
   - 24 minutes.  Turn dish a half turn halfway through cooking.
   Remove plastic wrap. Place on a solid surface for about 10
   minutes before removing from baking dish.
 
   Makes 2 loaves
