Cherry dessert cake

42ozpie filling, cherry
3 1/2 ccake mix, basic
1cbutter, or margarine, melted
3ozalmonds, slivered
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour cherry pie filling into a 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top of pie filling. Drizzle melted butter or margarine over top of mix. Top with slivered almonds. Bake about 45 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool in pan. Makes 1 large cake.
