8 oz Whole pitted dates
3/4 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter or margarine
2 1/2 c Crisp rice cereal
1 c Pecans; chopped
Flaked coconut
Or powdered sugar

Preparation Time: 0:25
Chop dates; combine dates, sugar, and butter in a medium
saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 1
minute. Stir in cereal and pecans; cool mixture to touch.
Shape into 1-inch balls, and roll balls in coconut or
powdered sugar. Yield: 4 dozen.
