                          LOLA'S WHOLE WHEAT BREAD

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1                    Beaten egg
    2       c            Buttermilk
    3       tb           Molasses or honey
    1 1/2   tb           Melted butter
    2       c            Wholewheat flour
    1       t            Baking powder
    1       t            Soda
    1       t            Salt
      1/2   c            Chopped raisins
    1 1/4   c            Chopped nuts
 
   Combine 1st four ingredients in mixing bowl. Add
   combined dry ingredients, add raisins and nuts. Divide
   dough evenly in 2 well greased loaf pans. Bake in 400
   oven for 50 min. or until bread sounds hollow when
   tapped on bottom.
